St Kilda, Canna and Sanday, Fair Isle, Scotland 2019
VISION PLAN - COMMISSION
St. Kilda is a renowned double UNESCO heritage site, Canna & Sanday a tidal island in the Small Isles, and Fair Isle the most remote inhabited island in the UK.
The Islands is a vision masterplan for three islands for the National Trust for Scotland. Our work involves strengthening the narrative of each place through exploring their assets. The outset is to create resilient destinations by making initiatives which balance preservation and conservation in a fragile natural, human and heritage environment, while providing sustainable living for the local communities.
