Anne Marie Galmstrup, ARB, RIBA, RIAS - Director
Anne Marie has delivered a range of award-winning cultural projects on challenging and sensitive sites such as the Eyemouth Pavilions in Scotland, King John’s Castle in Ireland, Massar Children’s Discovery Centre in Damascus and masterplans for a number of sites for the National Trust for Scotland. She has a vast international experience with cultural and community projects, and combines strategic thinking with pragmatic planning. Her strengths are in visioning and crafting original design concepts driven from a place’s context and culture, collection and communities and rooted in her Scandinavian ethos.

Anne Marie graduated from the Bartlett School of Architecture. She is a jury memeber of the Obel Award, chair of IMCC 2024 Edinburgh and member of ICOM. Committed to community engagement, she established the non-profit organisation “Imaginations Cross Cultures” which co-create summer schools with young people.

 

Juliet Aston, ARB, RIBA, RIBA CA - Senior Associate Architect
Juliet has delivered a number of significant award-winning museum and heritage projects such as Hay Castle at Hay-on-Wye, and the Ashmolean Museum redevelopment in Oxford. Juliet leads our heritage work such as the Athlone Castle in Ireland. She is an accredited Conservation Architect and an experienced Project Manager leading large multidisciplinary design and consultant teams.

Kazumi Koseko - Practice Manager
Kazumi is responsible for our day to day operation including Finance and HR. She brings 20+ years of experience in finance and office management from small architectural practices and charities.

 

Robin Cole-Hamilton, FRSA - Cultural Strategy
Robin is leading our cultural strategy focusing on organisational and institutional strategy, visitor experience, identity and communications. Robin draws on the practical experience of analysing, operating, leading and transforming cultural institutions over many years, including senior roles in London’s V&A, National Gallery and Science Museum.

Clarissa Chua, RIBA Part II – Architectural Assistant
Clarissa has substantial experience delivering high-end private projects within listed and heritage settings across the UK. She has been responsible for producing schematic, detailed, and construction drawings at various UK practices, working closely with consultants and contractors to coordinate and manage on-site projects. She is a graduate of the Architectural Association in London.

Phoebe Cowen, BA, MA Architecture – Architectural Assistant
Phoebe is an innovative designer with an international profile and passion for research. She has worked for a number of high-profile Danish practices, as well as a researcher. Phoebe has a BA (Hons) in History from University of Durham and is a graduate from the Royal Academy of Architecture in Copenhagen.

Architect
We are seeking a qualified and experienced Architect to join our team, with a strong track record of working on civic and cultural projects in the UK or abroad. Candidate should have a minimum of 5 years’ experience in practice following Part II completion and preferably has worked on Cultural, Heritage and Urban projects.

About the role
Working from our London studio at Columbia Road, the right candidate will play a key role on projects from developing design proposals and stage 4 packages, to coordinating specific consultants, and overseeing and supporting junior colleague’s work.  This position requires someone with strong design skills who is both structured and disciplined, as well as innovative,  proactive and positive. Someone with good management and communication skills.

Essential skills / knowledge
Successful applicants will have the following skills and qualifications:

  • ARB registered with a minimum of 5 years’ post Part II experience in practice

  • experience delivering small scale projects in the UK

  • proficient in Adobe Suite programmes & confident with MicroStation (or AutoCAD / Revit)

  • attention to detail and able to check and correct own work

  • ability to multi-task, maintain structured, and work to deadlines

  • ability to work independently and as part of a team

  • excellent communication and co-ordination skills

  • fluent spoken and written English & eligible to work in the UK

Architectural Assistant Part II
We are looking for a talented Architectural Assistant with appetite for obtaining their Part III to join our team. We are searching for someone with minimum two years of experience from practice post Part II to work on Cultural, Heritage and Urban projects.

About the role
Working from our London studio at Columbia Road, the Architectural Assistant will work on projects from concept design to design development.  Responsibilities will be varied and range from design studies, preparing CAD drawings, 3D models and visuals, to researching, preparing reports, and contributing in meetings and presentations. 

We welcome applicants who can demonstrate strong design skills and who have post-graduate experience in practice with ideally small-scale build experience. Someone who is creative and innovative as well as positive, proactive, and dedicated.

Essential skills / knowledge
Successful applicants will have the following skills and qualifications:

  • must have minimum 2 years’ post Part II experience from practice

  • ideally experience working on small scale projects and /or masterplanning experience

  • proficient in Rhino and the Adobe Suite programmes & confident with MicroStation (or AutoCAD / Revit)
