Our masterplan for BahΓ§eΕehir introduces streets and townhouses around shared courtyard. It introduces public squares and alleyways as the traditional city opposite the typical βinstant cityβ approach with towers rising from one privatised podium.
Sustainability
Kartal Homes proposes streets and courtyards instead of a private podium to promote an active neighbourhood. Townhouses are clustered around courtyard gardens providing semi-private space for neighbours to gather and children playing. Alleyways leads to shared semi-public squares for the whole community creating a variation in scale and a curious eye level experience for pedestrians.
